Silver 'dummy' necklace, from the 'sweets with the change' range.

Size of pendant is approx. 10mm diameter X 18mm, on chain.
Also available in brass on silver chain.

The 'sweets with the change' range focusses on the 'corner shop', and the important role it played in the communities we grew up in. The nostalgia of being sent to the shop to buy a loaf of bread and then the reward of asking the shopkeeper for 'sweets with the change' is the main theme of the range. All jewellery pieces are based on and re interpret the sweets of that time.  
The 'sweetie' inspiring this product is the candy dummy.

Memory:
If you grew up in southern suburbs, your childhood was jam packed with church bazaars, carnivals and vendors selling candy. The candy dummy along with the round rainbow lollypop was a staple purchase at any of these events. Our parents' fridge was where half eaten candy went to die :)
